In its purest sense, 100 Book Challenge is a staff development initiative that helps teachers increase their skills in assessment, use assessment results to plan the next teaching steps and use differentiated instruction strategies to increase student achievement in reading.
Instruction and support for teachers, administrators and parents helps maximize program implementation and success. 100 Book Challenge offers the following staff development services, each of which is described in detail under Products & Services:
•Start-Up Training: 8-10 Hours •In-Class, On-Site Support Visits for Each Teacher 3 Times Per Year •Workshop Series to Enhance Teacher Expertise •Leadership Training for Principals and Site Coordinators •Family Workshops for Parents •KidPACE Support Workshops
