Teachers closely monitor and regularly report three key metrics that measure student effort and success:
1. Independent Reading Level 2. Volume of Reading Practice, specifically the amount of time invested in Independent Reading to date (measured in 15-minute increments called “Steps”) 3. Degree of Reading at Home, specifically whether or not the child is receiving at least 3 Logsheet signatures from home per week.
