A Reading Challenge at Comegys
Philadelphia, Pa.—Students and staff at B. B. Comegys Elementary School are enthusiastic about 100 Book Challenge. While limited this school year to after school, Comegys principal Geraldine Fitzpatrick-Doria hopes to implement 100 Book Challenge as part of the regular curriculum next fall. New to Comegys this year, Fitzpatrick-Doria was impressed with 100 Book Challenge at her previous schools. According to Fitzpatrick, 100 Book Challenge “contributed directly to the two-level increase in Average Yearly Progress (AYP) we achieved at those schools.”
